NICOLE FIACCO GALLERY exhibits the work of contemporary artists working in all media.  Whether established, mid-career or emerging, artists who are selected to exhibit with the gallery have distinct points of view that result in work that is of consequence beyond its material properties.

The gallery presents up to eight significant exhibitions per year and maintains an excellent selection of works for private viewing year round, including contemporary ceramics.  Most artists who exhibit at the gallery are from outside of the Hudson Valley Region and have strong exhibition histories nationally and internationally.  While anchored in Hudson, NY the gallery maintains relationships with art buyers, galleries, artists and curators internationally.

HISTORY
After operating online and privately from 1999, the gallery opened its first exhibition space in Hudson, New York under the name Modo Gallery in 2002.  The gallery was committed exclusively to the work of contemporary artists whose work was informed by Native American culture until 2005.  In 2005 the gallery began to transition the positioning and identity of the gallery, which continues to unfold as a diverse roster of artists grow in number.  In 2005, the gallery was also renamed after its founder and Director, Nicole Fiacco.

The gallery and its artists have been featured in several national editorial pieces in publications including Art in America Magazine, The New York Times, American Craft Magazine, Hand Papermaking Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, Native Peoples Magazine and others.  The gallery has also been covered in many regional editorial pieces in publications such as Chronogram, PULSE, the Poughkeepsie Journal, Register Star and The Independent.
